I'm from the Blue Mountains outside Sydney, NSW, the traditional homelands of the Darug, Gundungurra, Wiradjuri, Wanaruah, Darkinjung and Tharawal people. My own background is a mix of European and Indian, and I've been fortunate to spend time working and living in Australia, Bangladesh, India and Iraq. I've spent my life looking at books, trees and small children; most of my work is based on one of those three things.
